The 404 page settings contain all the settings/sections you need to configure your 404 page. The 404 page is a great SEO tool to show pages that don't excist (anymore). You can build your own 404 page from scratch, but ofcourse we've provided the theme with a default 404 page.
How to edit the 404 page?
The 404 page contains of one section, however you can add more sections and blocks, edit them and remove them. You can use all the sections that are used on the homepage. There is only one basic element in the 404 page. But it is nice to have a template you can work with!
First you'll have to navigate to the search page template.
You can do this by navigating to Others > 404 page in the top bar of the theme editor
Once on this page, the default template is ready to be edited!
